Over 200 animals are cared for at NSW Animal Rescue Incorporated per year?
That each stay is an average of 4 weeks and a cost of $150?
That this cost is covered by the community that the Shelter serves? NSW Animal Rescue Inc relies on the generosity of donations and fundraising to help keep an innocent animal alive. To raise awareness and funding for NSW Animal Rescue Inc and the work they do, along with trying to raise
over $10,000 for the cause, Peter Swat , a devoted and committed animal lover is going to take the cause to the air! Thanks to the support from Donovan and the “Simply Skydive” team On Sunday 27 th May 2007 at approximately 9.00am, Peter and 15 other like-minded animal lovers
skydived into Penrith Lakes Regatta Centre to raise awareness and funding for the salvation work that
NSW Animal Rescue Inc does seven days per week. Peter's animal-loving team is made up of, but limited to: Peter Swat (self-confessed legend in his own lunchtime!) Caroline Pemberton (Miss World Australia 2007)
Caroline Pemberton, Miss World Australia 2007, is a 21 yr old Bachelor of Psychology student at the University Of New South Wales .
She is a goodwill ambassador for UNICEF and has worked with over a dozen Australian charities to raise funds and awareness.
She has always had a great passion for animals one which has continued to grow since her first job working at her local pet shop
(purr-fect pets) in St. Ives. In fact, she's such an animal lover that she's even willing to make her first jump out of a plane in order
to raise much needed funds for the animals of NSW animal rescue!!
Will Elrick (Mountaineer)
Will Elrick survived a car crash that left him with only one leg after 5 weeks in coma where ha was diagnosed
as clinically dead three times. Since this accident he das completed the 100 kilometre Sydney Trail walker race through bushland and
has numerous other sporting achievements. His biggest athletic goal is ahead of him – to climb Mount Everest How can you help? Raising awareness is the first step, but sponsorship for the initiative will go further for the day to day operations of the shelter to ensure
